To test your ozonator you will need a few handy tools such as scissors and pliers. Be sure to turn power off to spa first. Don’t continue testing an obviously degraded or damaged ozone generator that may need replacing instead, but if the unit looks like it is in good condition, you can proceed to test.  

Take out 1 of the testers and follow directions so that you can connect the tester to the ozone generator.  Have a stop watch ready and connect adapter fitting – you will time 30 seconds of ozone operation and assure the color changes during that time. 

This is  a certain way to make sure your ozonator is generating ozone and helping to keep your spa water sanitized.
