Check local codes to insure proper distance of mounted box/GFCI to the spa.
Avoid miswiring 4-wire hookups by assuring the neutral (white) wire from the spa pack is connected to the neutral buss of the GFCI breaker and not the sub-panel grounding lug. Some spas are wired with 4 wires: ground, neutral (white), hot (L1 – usually black) and hot (L2- usually red).
Use a qualified electrician to do any home electrical work. Be sure the proper gauge wire is feeding the device to safely operate the hot tub.
